The signature joint gives this table its own strong design identity. A development of the joint means that two pillar stands can be joined together with a brace of tubular steel and this gives a very stable construction. The brace is sturdy enough to rest your feet on. Obi dual-pedestal table is available in two standing heights or as a conference/ dining table. The name ‘Obi’ is Japanese and refers to the long sash that ties around and holds together the Japanese kimono. Design: Sandin & Bülow, 2001-2004.
